Golden quadrilateral highway project near its completion. The govt.has kicked off a 20,000km feeder reach project,which is expected to cost Rs. 25,000 crore. The project involves upgradation of two lane road networks connecting towns and villages with the 5,900km golden quadrilateral that links the four metros, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkatta.
The bids for the project,which falls under the NATIONAL HIGHWAYS DEVELOPMENT.
